How we designed a new E-Commerce Website for Wynne Goss Ministries.
The designing stage was the most important stage of our web project. It typically involved giving shape to all the information defined in the planning stage. We created a visual representation of the website and a documented site structure. A website should not only be technically proficient but also a creative design. The creative process was very core, for the success of the project. This process helped us to arrive at a design that was captivating to our audience.
Our target audience was everyone since the Ministry’s aim is to make worship the lifestyle of all believers. We needed to develop a responsive website which means catering to accommodate possible outcomes. Responsive design helps to solve many problems since the site looks mobile-friendly, improve its appearance on devices with either large or small screens.
We understood the needs of a website user’s to motivate them into action. After having discussions with clients and understanding their nature of interaction with the existing website, we prioritized their needs. We created user journeys based on their profiles which gave us understandings into their motivation and the needs that the website should cater.
An efficient website should look for a way to connect with the audience. It was a necessity that audience share presentations online. So we incorporated slide share since it provides a good tool for sharing and uploading PowerPoint slides.
The website was very efficient because it integrated directly with the member’s database.
